Shira Lazaar is a Canadian television personality who pursued her dreams to L.A: She has worked for CBS, MSN and the Ellen show: as both an on-air talent and entrepreneur, we discuss her ups and downs in traditional and new media in this interview.
As we did with the individual interviews we conducted at SALT Conference, we will be using some of these Vidcon convos for our second documentary on how YouTube created a whole ecosystem of entrepreneurs out of a creative class that would have otherwise probably not veered down the entrepreneurial path.

Looks like IT is not the only terrifying clown who gets his own film this Fall.
The new trailer for the Warner Bros movie Joker has just been released! Oscar winning actor Joaquin Phoenix plays the role of the ionic villain, known as Arthur Fleck; a struggling comedian in Gotham City who takes care of his sick mother.
After being labelled a failed stand-up comedian and after so many personal letdowns, he breaks down and becomes the notorious cartoon villain we are all familiar with today.
Looks like Timothée Chalamet will reign over Netflix this fall.
From “Call Me By Your Name”, to call me “The King”, Timothée Chalamet is back and the internet is royally obsessed. But before we dive into the details of this new Netflix original film and the accompanying Twitter reactions, check out the official teaser trailer below!
Director David Michôd has taken on this ambitious Shakespearean Epic in which Chalamet stars as Henry V. The film will follow Henry V’s transformation from Prince Hal to a King, adapting from Shakespeare’s Henriad, as he learns to navigate palace politics and embrace the life he had previously tried to escape.

Not only will this Oscar Nominee be starring in this royal original, but Chalamet has been cast alongside a strong ensemble including Joel Edgerton as Falstaff, Robbert Pattinson as Louis and Lily-Rose Depp as Henry’s wife Catherine. Sean Harris and Ben Mendelsohn will also be starring in the upcoming Netflix film.
“The King” will premiere at the Venice Film Festival September 2nd, before making it’s way to Netflix to dominate our streaming schedules. Before then, check out some of our related videos below!

“I Warned Myself” and “Teeth” Are On Repeat for YouTube Users Today
Less than 24 hours ago, Australian pop/punk rock band 5 Seconds of Summer and American singer/songwriter Charlie Puth launched music videos that are now at the top of the trending page on YouTube. Before we dive into the details of each new release, check out the videos below!
“Teeth” feature 5 Seconds of Summer members desperately trying to escape a lab experiment, while Charlie Puth lays back on a red carpet participating in a photoshoot in “I Warned Myself”.
Thank you for the most amazing release day ever. Everything feels amazing. Thanks for listening! Love reading your feedback. #TEETH ❤️
Charlie Puth is finally back with a new look, a new heartfelt single and an accompanying, and sufficiently emotional, music video. He sings about the toxic habit of going back to someone continuously even when you know “deep down that they aren’t any good for you”. Brendan Vaughan, director of the music video, films Puth in different situations with various love interests. The video ends with Puth standing on top of a red sports car as it speeds away into a desert. Hopefully this time he comes back quicker.
We saw 5 Seconds of Summer officially retire their lighthearted 2014 music videos and move towards something more mature and edgy, mixing their pop appeal with a punk/rock aesthetic, in “Youngblood” and “Easier” and it seems they’re at it again. The band’s single “Teeth” stays in-line with their recent use of vibrant filters, flashing lights and experimental visuals, but is accompanied by a dark and eerie plot, directed by Thibaut Duverneix. The video opens with the band in a lab and each member is given a gaseous sedative. They then start hallucinating and try to leave the lab experiment they find themselves trapped in. Don’t worry though, the video’s heaviness isn’t nearly strong enough to outweigh the ability to fangirl over the band.
Lead vocalist Luke Hemmings explains that “It was a tumultuous time in my life and the lyrics in the song definitely reflect that. It speaks lyrically about a trying time in my current relationship. Musically it’s another step forward from ‘Easier’ and really embraces industrial sounds and rhythms.”
Is the client always right? In this episode of Context is King, Ashkan Karsbasfrooshan, founder and CEO of WatchMojo argues that just because it is the employee’s job to make sure that the client is happy does not mean that the client knows best. Watch for more
Rambo is finally coming back to theatres this September, and 73-year-old Sylvester Stallone is just as ready as he was in 1985 to kick some serious ass. Check out the intense new trailer below!
This time, his war is not in Vietnam but at home. When Rambo finds out that his friend’s daughter was kidnapped, he crosses the U.S border to bring her back home, only to find himself outnumbered by Mexico’s most brutal cartel.
After the successful return of Rocky Balboa in the Creed movies, @TheSlyStallone other great action hero will be back next month. #Rambo_Last_Blood is the fifth–and presumably final–movie in the #Rambo series and a new trailer has been released. pic.twitter.com/v00wc1TOsz
Intercut with iconic scenes from all three previous Rambo films, “Rambo”, “First Blood,” and “Rambo: First Blood Part II”, the teaser reveals a series of action shots of this brutally ruthless soldier in action, equipped with firearms, knives, and bows.
